Inspired by books she read as a child, Renee became a teacher in 1991. She has since taught grades 2–8 as both a classroom teacher and a substitute and participated in a year-long teacher exchange in Dubbo, Australia. As social justice executive, Renee is responsible for the GSA, DEHR, and social justice committee. She loves working with like-minded teachers who believe we’re responsible for helping our local, regional, and global communities.
