Responsibilities
The Scholarship Committee meets every fall to review all applications and to ensure that each submission is complete.
Each student applicant will be considered for the following awards:
- The Archbishop Joseph MacNeil Scholarship for outstanding Christian service
- The Bernie Lemay Scholarship for studies in computer science, digital arts, or multimedia technology and design
- The Bishop Greschuk Scholarship for those registered in a recognized Faculty of Education
- The Donna Swiniarski Scholarship for studies in communications, marketing, or English
- The MacNeil/Quinlan Scholarship for student involvement, leadership, and citizenship
The amount of the scholarship will be decided based on the number of complete applications each year. The maximum amount awarded is $1000 per applicant and may vary year to year.
Winners will be invited to a Council of School Representatives meeting prior to the Christmas break and will have their cheques presented to them at that time.

Your child works just as hard as you do. We want to reward them for that effort. Every year, we offer local-sponsored scholarships valued at up to $1000 each to outstanding secondary students based on their grades, their leadership, and their faith commitment. These scholarships are available to students entering their first year of post-secondary studies.
