Responsibilities
We talk to teachers and use information from our fall and spring PDACs to make sure our activities are relevant to your professional needs and interests. Then we meet throughout the year to plan PD activities around curricula, mandates, wellness, topical events and issues, and student needs. We also manage initiatives like the local’s biannual book club, the International Women’s Day event, and a Metro Cinema partnership.

Every year we organize and run a professional development program that matches up with your needs and interests. This enables you to access PD opportunities, resources, and information, as well as get in touch with great speakers and other teachers.
