We believe all teachers need a safe place to be themselves; that’s why our local was the first in Alberta to have a teacher-focused Gender and Sexuality Alliance Committee. We gather to share our experiences and plan social and educational events in our community.
In-person meetings are held in the local office in Barnett House at 402, 11010 142 Street.
Get Involved
There’s no need to register for a meeting ahead of time. Just show up to a meeting and we’ll be happy to see you. If you identify as 2SLGBTQI+, this is a safe space for you to share your story. If you’re an ally, come show your support for equality and acceptance.
