Dear Teachers,
After a start to the school year that tested your strength and resolve, this Christmas carries even deeper meaning. You stood firm for what matters and yet were forced back into the same oversized and under supported classrooms. Yet you continue to show up for your students and to advocate for publicly funded Catholic education. As we enter the Advent season, I pray that you find peace and joy in these holy days. May the birth of Christ renew your spirit, strengthen your faith, and fill your hearts with hope for brighter days ahead.
You have more than earned the upcoming break! May your holidays be filled with laughter, family, and maybe a few blissful moments without lesson plans or political distractions. Thank you for your continued commitment to advocating for publicly funded Catholic education. Alberta classrooms are stronger because of you.
Merry Christmas! May your coffee be hot, your marking pile nonexistent, and your new year blessed with grace and renewal.
Peace to you,
Amber Nicholson
