Embark on a professional development journey with another Alberta colleague that will inspire, inform, and transform you. Experience first-hand what teaching and leading looks like in another Alberta school.
How does it work? The duration of the exchange is one week. You will job shadow at your partner’s school for the first part of the week (Monday and Tuesday). Wednesday you travel to the other location. Thursday and Friday your partner job shadows you at your school.
Where can I go? It would depend on the applications received, but generally within three hours of travel to each other.
When do I go? In May 2024, based on timing that works for both participants.
What costs are covered? Each of you will take your turn hosting your partner in your home. Our program will reimburse mileage to and from your exchange location, as well as replacement costs as necessary.
