IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE MEDIATOR’S RECOMMENDATIONS ON TERMS OF OUR CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS
Please ensure that you log into your ATA account at www.teachers.ab.ca and read the Mediator’s Recommendations. This is extremely important whether you attended a Member Information Meeting (MIM) or not.
VOTING WILL BE OPEN Sunday, June 5th at 9am until Wednesday, June 8th at 5pm. You must have an ATA account to cast your ballot on the mediator’s recommendations.
A step by step guide to voting will be available prior to the commencement of the voting window.
During this time technical support will be available if there are issues with accessing the voting portal.
You are eligible to vote if you:
Are a teacher employed under contract by one of the 61 public, separate or francophone school jurisdictions, AND are a member of an ATA bargaining unit (covered under a collective agreement) on a day the poll is open
OR
Are a substitute teacher who has been employed at any time in the 60 calendar days prior to the opening of the poll.
