Farewell be gone, adios, sayonara, we bid you adieu, or… just plain old GO AWAY 2020! Anyone else SO ready to say goodbye to 2020? Bring on the season of Advent, a time of hope, peace, joy and anticipation of all things holy and bright! O come Emmanuel! We wish for the presence of the Lord in all that we do and we hope that this year will close with a feeling of finality that we can be both thankful for and relieved to see.
This holiday season will be like no other for a variety of reasons not least of which is COVID and all that it has taken from us. I do encourage you to look for the things that bring you the hope, peace, joy and fulfillment that the Advent season asks us to pray for and welcome. Where we will likely not be at the end of this COVID journey in the new year, we will be all that much closer to this end that we all seek. I thank you for all that you do, for your commitment, professionalism and passion. Without you, NONE of this would work. None of it and this is not lost on any of us at the Local.
