Classroom Management: What Works?

“Let students make the class rules”; “don’t smile ’til October” ; “treat ’em mean to keep ’em keen”; “pick your battles”; so much teacher wisdom circulates about classroom management, but which wisdom does the research about effective classroom management corroborate? Both seasoned and beginning teachers are invited to attend our investigation of that question at our Classroom Management: What Works training and dinner Monday, November 4th.
