Here’s an opportunity for any members of ECT Local.
As you may well know, each year the Alberta Teachers’ Association has its annual Summer Conference at The Banff Centre.
The professional development offered ranges from sessions for first-time attendees to specialized training such as bargaining. There are several spaces allocated for our local. Our local has initiated a newly formed Summer Conference Delegate Selection Committee that will be reviewing the local’s potential attendees guided by the following criteria:
4.1.1 building future capacity in the local
4.1.2 maintaining and improving skills and training of current member of the local in executive or committee leadership positions
4.1.3 taking advantage of current offerings at summer conference (i.e.: programs only offered in alternate years, and updated programs)
4.1.4 a delegate’s interest in further work with the local
