For any proposed changes to Local 54 Constitution
Please note that any proposed changes to the constitution must follow this specific procedure:
– Any member of the local association may submit an amendment to the constitution.
– The proposal must be put in writing (including the section reference) to the constitution committee by April 1.
– Included with the proposal will be a rationale for the change.
– The constitution committee will bring all proposed changes to the executive where they will either recommend or not recommend the change.
– The proposals will then be distributed to all members of the local association a minimum of two weeks before the Annual General Assembly.
Any proposed changes must be sent to jonathan.sharek@ecteachers.ca no later than April 1st, 2018.
